Cape Tribulation is where the world’s oldest continually surviving tropical rainforests, meet the world’s greatest living tropical reef, the Great Barrier Reef. Nowhere else on earth do two natural World Heritage listed sites exist side by side. Such is the natural beauty and precious value of this truly stunning piece of paradise, that you will have ample time to explore and enjoy on this full day tour.
“ Esther was the best guide! Lots of interesting info and friendly. Loved the day and trip from Cairns. Cape Tribulation was spectacular and Mossman Gorge was simply stunning. Tasted like a green ant! Ice cream was delicious!! Aboriginal smoke ceremony and welcome is not to be missed. Thank you to our indigenous guide 'Running Water'.

2 months agoEnjoyed the day but Stephanie our tour guide was unorganised in a few instances such as we only gave 20 minutes at Mossman Gorge. Wasn’t enough time for a swim as she said we were running late. She didn’t explain things on the tour and couldn’t hear her at times on the bus as she wasn’t using the microphone. At the end of the evening, she didn’t know all the hotels for the drop-off and we were driven around the block a few times. Maybe she needs a bit more training as she doesn’t really speak clearly compared to other tour guides and tours I have been on. Other than that we had an enjoyable day.
4 months agoLoved this tour! In 1 day you can experience the real wilderness of the rainforest. Our guide Carlos was very experienced and talked about so many interesting things about Australia, wild animals, plants and fun facts. We saw snakes, spiders, monitor lizard and a glimpse of a crocodile at the end!
1 year agoHad a great time with Esther on this day trip up to Daintree and Cape Tribulation. It was a fun journey and a wonderful way to experience the rainforest, Queensland's famous beach, and not forgetting that magical drive from Cairns to Port Douglas. Would have been good to spend more time around the area as there is so much to explore but this is a good way to get to know the area.
1 year agoThe description of the trip was pretty generic but the day wasn't. It started with the tour bus turning up on time, ✔️ Then once all the passengers were on board we headed to the cultural centre for a welcome to country and some background on the indigenous peoples of the Daintree. Then boarded a bus up to the swimming hole and board walks. Next we jumped back on our bus and headed to the river cruise where we spotted 2 crocodiles and learnt about the plants and wildlife. Back on the bus again to our lunch destination with vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and everyone else catered for. Travelling up the road we then hoped off for a beach and board walk and some amazing photos. It was now time to head back but we had enough time for a cheeky coffee/icecream stop ✔️ on board we headed to another look out and some stunning after rain photos. The powers to be were on our side and no wait for the car ferry. We were on time and headed back towards Cairns to drop our Port Douglas friends off. The drive along the Ocean is beautiful and so much to see. Now for our driver, two things about Stew, you always know where he is and you always know where you have to be. His environmental stories about habitat and the area were interesting. It was just nice to have someone with enthusiasm to drive us around all day. And that kiwi laugh is infectious. You will not get a shy/quiet tour with Stew. We packed a lot into our day, no one got lost, no one was late and we just did what we were told. If you don't want to see all this in one day on a schedule, then you should just drive yourself. You will miss the opportunity to just sit back and relax and meet new people. This day was one of the highlights of our trip.
1 year agoGreat day out. The trip exceeded my expectations and Mark was an awesome tour guide being very accommodating and informative. Would recommend mark and the cairns adventure group team for this tour, they were on time to the minute all day from pick up to drop off A1 service.
1 year agoWe were so glad we decided to do this tour. It was a great way to see the Daintree without the pressure of knowing where/how to get to popular places. We had a fantastic time on the tour, our guide Roger was excellent, very punctual, inclusive and extremely knowledgable. Would definitely recommend to others.
2 years agoThe only thing I could fault would be there wasn’t enough time, and seemed a little rushed. Time at Mossman Gorge Cafe seemed to be wasted waiting for eftpos. Wonder if an earlier pickup could also assist. Overall a great tour that I would highly recommend.
2 years agoGreat tour very informative. A lot to see and absorb and the tour was well designed to do that. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone that wants to see the rain forest and the Mossman Gorge on the way to the picturesque views of Cape Tribulation.
2 years agoAmazing experience! Full day of activities. Started off with a smoke ceremony; we got time to explore the Mossman Gorge. The Daintree wildlife cruise allowed us to spot crocs in the wild. The drive through the Daintree Rainforest felt like going through a movie. Our driver provided us plenty of interesting information throughout the day. We even got ice cream. Thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cairns.
