Want to swim in natural waterfalls, swimming holes and native wildlife but don’t know where to go? Join this Cairns waterfall day tour to discover some of North Queensland’s most iconic waterfalls surrounded by lush rainforest in the Atherton Tablelands. Your guide will collect you from Cairns accommodation at 7.30am and take you on a day filled with adventure amongst nature. Relax and let someone else take care of the driving as you sit back and soak in the panormic views on the drive. The first stop is the Babinda Boulders where you will hear spooky Aboriginal stories before your first swim of the day at Josephine Falls. Swim in nature’s waterpark here as you slide down the water rockslide. The next stop is Australia’s famous Millaa Millaa falls which make a beautiful backdrop for any photograph and a scenic swim. Enjoy Australian country hospitality with a hearty lunch at the Malanda Pub before continuing the adventure in the afternoon. Visit Mount Hypipamee Dinner and Crater Falls to walk through the bush, swim behind the waterfall and gaze into the 85 metre deep volcanic crater. Additional stops include a visit to the Curtain Fig Tree with tree roots that tower 3 storeys above you. You may even spot Tree Kangaroos and Cassowaries while you are here. Finally, end the day visiting a creek looking for platypus and a swim in a dormant volcanic crater at Lake Eacham amongst turtles. The tour will return you to Cairns accomodation at 5.30pm after a full day exploring cascading waterfalls and rainforest near Cairns. “ Excellent experience, you had enough time at every spot, and the staff was so nice. I had lots of fun. We skipped the last point due to giant flies, I'll never be sure that it wasn't an excuse. Oh and the kids ate the cookies and they never took out more for everyone else but as everything else was awesome I'll still drop my 5 stars.

2 months agoOur waterfall tour was a great day, visiting some beautiful places as detailed in the tour. Our tour guide was great and full of knowledge. Thank you for a fantastic day. Highly recommend this tour and company. Will do future tours when back in Cairns.
4 months agoA great day for the Waterfall Wanderers Tour. The experience is really amazing; a big thank you to our top kiwi driver. Stu is the number one driver and guide. An additional surprise was a stop at a farm at Tablelands; drinking hot chocolate and tasting choco-sweets. Awesome!!!
5 months agoSuch a wonderful day seeing beautiful waterfalls and natural wonders! The waters were so clear and accessible to everyone. The bus was comfortable enough with only a minor delay when the door would not close. I was disappointed that we did not receive morning and afternoon tea, fruits and biscuits as advertised.
3 years agoWe saw the outer Cairns which was great!
