“ Would highly recommend doing this tour in far North Queensland and visit this beautiful place Daintree rainforest and Mossman Gorge so much beauty to look at and some breathtaking views as well our morning tea was great and lunch was excellent lastly but not least our guide, Dion, was amazing full of a wealth of information and no question was never unanswered so thank you for a wonderful day
One-Way Cancellation Policy. They can cancel but not customers. Even if the customer had food poisoning on the first day in Port Douglas. Quicksilver is much better and respects its customer base. Port Douglas is a very relaxing place and everyone is nice. Not sure Calypso Tours wants to build up a terrible reputation for its customer service.

1 year agoA thoroughly enjoyable and informative tour. Good people, good food and a great tour leader. Ben was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and history of the region and an excellent host. A very good way to see the rainforest and I highly recommend this tour.
2 years agoAwesome time and what really made our day was our tour guide Ben. We were so pleased we all took the 9 hour tour. The weather was the best, a little bit of rain which made it bearable. Lunch at the Heritage Resort was amazing, the ice cream stop was good and the riverboat ride was great with our tour guide Ernie which he new everything about crocodiles.
2 years agoWhat an awesome experience. Trip was well organised. Picked up at our accommodation then off we all went on an amazing day tour. Our driver/tour guide, Ben, was the best we have had. He was very informative, knowledgeable, and proud (19 years in this business) on the far north region. Mossman gorge was our 1st stop, which was amazing walking through nature. Then onto the Daintree river crossing by ferry and up to Cape Tribulation to the beach and morning tea, which was more than enough. On our way back down hopping into a boat on Coopers river to spot the crocs! Guide had 30 years experience. Then a huge lunch at heritage lodge tucked among the Daintree forest, then to an ice cream shop set on a family owned tropical fruit orchard. Our last stop was walking through the oldest rainforest in the world, the Daintree. This trip was such an enjoyable experience, thanks Ben.
3 years agoWe didn't have the greatest day for it with the area receiving heavy rain overnight and throughout the day. Ben our guide kept it lighthearted and made sure we had an excellent day; his knowledge and knowing when to use it kept everyone engaged on a trying day. Truely an outstanding part of the world. Would recommend people pack wet weather gear as well as swimmers as it is a Rainforest.
3 years agoWe had an amazing day. Peter was our tour guide and he was fantastic. His knowledge and approachable personality made this tour. Peter was able to keep the kids engaged the whole trip. Lunch was great. We met some really great people on this tour also. Thanks.
3 years agoI really liked our tour guide. I liked most of the tour except for the rainforest walk and gorge. I felt disappointed about going to Moss man gorge and not getting in the water. It was dumb. But I loved swimming in the water by the restaurant. Thank you.
4 years agoGreat tour! Dale is an amazing tour guide and knows so much. He tells with passion and he has a lot of experience (no boring long stories). Definitely worth to book this tour to see the highlights and hear the most insights of this amazing region! Thank you, Dale!
4 years ago“Do make sure you bring some comfortable walking shoes as you experience the beauty of the Daintree Rainforest on this day tour. Though the walks are short and gentle - you'll want to make sure your experience in untouched, the wilderness is one to remember. Please bring swimwear, towel and a change of clothes if you intend on swimming at the Heritage lodge.”
