“ Our tour guide was excellent and had a very keen eye to be able to spot not just the crocs but other wildlife too, especially the tree python and the tree snake! A bonus was seeing the ferry cross the Daintree. It was a very enjoyable trip on a larger more comfortable boat than I’d expected.

3 months agoThe river cruise was really good, we got to see both crocodiles and some snakes which was great. All of the staff there are really nice and friendly (and there was a dog to say hello to which was a nice bonus), overall really worth it, especially for the price :)
6 months agoThe waiting area and shop are very nice, with complimentary coffee and a nice chat to the owners. There are very friendly chickens roaming around. The cruise is fantastic, very educational and packed with science facts, and lots of stories about the river!
10 months agoThe Daintree River Cruise was a good experience for the both of us, and we did manage to see a crocodile during the trip. Our host was also knowledgeable and shared terrific insight during the journey. The one negative I must mention is that the host favoured one side of the boat, and always gave preference to ensure that side got the best view, leaving those on the other side needing to stand up to see what they were seeing.
1 year agoBruce was great with knowledge and experience and we got to see a few different sized crocodiles. Bonus was the lunch of a sausage roll and drink with the 12 noon booking. The young lady at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Cost was the best part at only $30.
1 year agoWe had a awesome day on Bruce Belcher's and son Daintree river cruise, we saw large and small crocodiles and our guide was very informative, everyone should experience one of these cruises in there lifetime, the boat had a roof and you can take a beer with you
1 year agoThe hosts were very welcoming and the beer cold! We saw as many as 10 crocodiles varying sizes either in the water or sunning on the bank. The trip to Belchers was scenic along the coastline, through the rainforest and fields of sugar cane, I highly recommend this adventure whilst in FNQ.
1 year agoIt was a great cruise, nice tour guide and even saw a crocodile eating a green tree snake!! How amazing is that! The tour guide gave us a lot of interesting information about the crocodiles and saw a lot of crocodiles as well (babies and big ones). Can definitely recommend this tour!
1 year agoGreat experience. Will definitely be telling my friends and family about this experience. A great family owned business. We saw a few crocs in their natural habitat which was great, rather than in farms. Kids throughly enjoyed it and so did the adults!
2 years agoGreat guide, very Informative and a skilled “driver”. A beautiful place to cruise the river. We saw a few crocs ranging in size, and learnt about the mangroves and other animals that inhabit the river. This is not a gawping cruise with crocs leaping out of the water and being fed dead chickens, it is learning about their habitat and enjoying the serenity of the river. A lovely way to spend an hour on a hot day.
2 years ago“The 12pm cruise is great as you get a pie and a can of cold drink, otherwise if you feel like an alcoholic beverage at the end of the day, the 4pm cruise provides a cold beer or wine and some nibblies.”
