“ The great barrier reef has been on my bucket list for the longest time and I finally did it! It was an amazing experience, at first I was a little scared but as soon as you get to see the reef you are so mesmerised all fear goes out the window! Definitely something everybody needs to see if I get a chance to do it again I would give diving a go! We were supplies plenty of good, there was plenty of shade and just an all round great experience!
Was an amazing day seeing the reef and the food was great.
A great day exploring all the wonders of the reef. The ride was very smooth and the crew all very friendly. Jeff was awesome with his knowledge and tips on where to look. Food provided was also great catered for several dietary requirements. Would definitely go again.
12 months agoWe boarded the boat at Port Douglas Marina and took of out into the ocean. We stopped at 3 different locations on the reef and were educated by the guides on coral and fish. It was an all day trip but worth every cent.

1 year agoUnreal day out on the Greet Barrier Reef.
Myself and my friend Alice had such an unreal experience, the crew were top class and all three stop locations were insane! Unbelievable day out, well worth a trip. Would highly recommended the Great Barrier Reef trip with the Silversonic cruise.
1 year agoDon’t hesitate, this company is the best, the tour was amazing! The crew, the ship, the reef, the lunch… all fantastic!
The boat was modern and comfortable. The crew were amazing and so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were also very happy with the amount of food provided on the ship, definitely didn’t feel any corners being cut. Lastly, the reef… breathtaking experience. We are so glad we did this tour… the reef was so full of marine life and the water was so clear… we felt like we were swimming inside an aquarium! Will be doing this again next time we visit the area.
2 years agoLess than perfect weather but perfect day. Staff were wonderful and very instructive.
Excellent tour. Great staff, facilities and food. Even under less than perfect weather conditions we had, it was a great day exploring the reef. Staff gave us a run down on each reef site and history. Couldn’t recommend highly enough to anyone looking for the full day experience.

We were blessed with a sunny day and 5 knot winds, so the water was perfect. The boat was clean and very comfortable. The boat crew were fantastic and made sure we had a great experience. Gordo was my dive Instructor and he was amazing, he made us feel safe and made sure we all had the time of our lives. Thank you to the entire team.

It was a great trip. Highly recommended. I can't swim, but had great fun snorkelling, thanks to the friendly and professional instructor and life guard. Will try diving next time.

The Silversonic outer reef experience dive & snorkel was outstanding, The Marine life we encountered was unbelievable, We had 3 excellent dives on separate reefs, with morning tea, Lunch, afternoon tea provided, what a great team to dive with! we would also highly recommend this as a great way to see the Outer reef!
1 decade ago“Take a change of clothes with you as it is much more comfortable on the return journey with dry clothes. Make sure you have plenty of sunscreen as the Tropical North Queensland sun can be extremely strong.”
