Heading out from the Cairns Marina, you'll board a comfortable vessel and cruise out across the pristine reef waters towards the wonderful shores of Fitzroy Island on a journey that takes roughly 45 minutes. Once on Fitzroy Island, you'll have five hours to explore its many stunning natural offerings, taking part in a range of activities on both land and water including snorkelling, glass bottom boat tours, kayaking, island adventures and much more.

- Return ferry transfers to Fitzroy Island
- Up to 6 hours on the island

- Depart Cairns at 8:30am or 10:45am, depart Fitzroy at 4pm (2:15pm departure subject to availability on the day). Arrive in Cairns at approx. 4:45pm
- Guests will receive a text message the afternoon prior to departure with berth number and vessel as well as a link to a map directing them to the correct location

Perfect ferry boat ride with friendly staff, with a 10% discount
We booked the ferry boat only one day in advance, with the seven of us. It was nice that there were still places available, and we even got 10% discount! The boat ride was very comfortable and the staff was really friendly. Would definitely book again.

It was amazing! There are a lot of nature there!
I felt seasick but forgot everything when I landed in Fitzroy island. I did snorkel and saw big fish in ocean :) It was really stunning sightseeing when went hiking! I wanted to complete hiking course from the beginning but couldn’t because it was not enough time. Definitely I will go there again!!

Great experience, beautiful island, wonderful staff.
Had a lovely day on Fitzroy island, the ferry to and from was great, and the staff were informative and quite funny. Loved getting to sit on the sundeck during the ferry ride and the bar and ice cream on the way back was an added bonus. Will definitely be booking again.
